INDEPENDENT STATUS GUIDE / UPDATED OCTOBER 10, 2026
ArtCraft AI has a separate family of 7 open-source Crafting Apps. According to its official directory, 2 are labelled early alpha and 5 are in development. We show you where each stands before you commit your files or your time.
Source-checked, not hands-on tested. See our method.

A download link is not a readiness verdict. Always check the release notes and test with a copy of your work.
01 / THE LINEUP
Two different questions matter: what is it for? and how far along is it? The labels below come from the official listing, not our own performance tests.

02 / QUICK DECISION
Choose a task and your platform. We'll point to an official app listing—not claim it's ready for your main workflow. No account, no API calls, no data sent anywhere.

03 / BEFORE YOU INSTALL
Searching for github artcraft? Every repository is linked from the cards above and compared side by side on our GitHub page. A star count or a release file alone can't tell you if your workflow is safe.
PhotoCraft edits images; LightCraft manages and develops photos. Similar names, different jobs.
Use the official product page and linked GitHub repo. Confirm version, platform and known issues before installing.
Open a duplicate file, make one change and verify the exported result. "In development" and "early alpha" are not production guarantees.

04 / GOOD QUESTIONS
A quick answer should make your next decision easier, not pretend we tried something we haven't.
ArtCraft is an open-source creative studio. The same team's official Crafting Apps directory lists separate image, vector, video, photo, PDF, motion and layout projects. This independent guide covers that app directory; the studio itself is not an eighth Crafting App.
The official directory labels PhotoCraft and PdfCraft as early alpha, and the others as in development. It also lists installers for all entries. A downloadable build is not proof that it is stable or suitable for your main workflow; try it with a copy of your files.
The official Crafting Apps directory calls the listed apps free and open source. The separate ArtCraft studio describes itself as free to start, with no subscription required. Check the official page for any model, service or account requirements before relying on a particular workflow.
Not yet. This is an independent, source-linked status guide based on the official app directory and repository links. We do not claim to have installed or benchmarked every app. Hands-on results will be labelled separately when available.
Use the official page and GitHub repository links beside each app in the directory above. Follow the official release instructions for your operating system; avoid unverified download mirrors.
We have not verified or summarized a representative set of Reddit reviews. Check recent discussions yourself and compare their dates and versions with the official release notes; forum anecdotes are not a substitute for your own trial.
The official directory lists macOS, Windows and Linux for the Crafting Apps. It also lists Web for most of them, but not for FilmCraft. Availability can change; open the relevant official app page for up-to-date downloads and requirements.
OUR EDITORIAL METHOD
This is an independent guide, not an ArtCraft property or endorsement. The app names, categories, status labels and platform lists come from the official Crafting Apps directory, checked October 10, 2026. Individual official pages and repositories are linked on each card.
We have not installed and benchmarked all the apps. Where we advise caution, that's editorial guidance based on the release stage—not a reported bug or a hands-on verdict. Availability can change; check the official sources before you download.
